Give Yourself a Gift

When things get hectic and our schedules are busy, we sometimes forget to stop. We forget to look around - to notice what it's like to be alive in this very moment.

Sometimes we need a little nudge.  A gentle reminder to check in with how we're feeling and what we're present to. Today, go ahead and give yourself this gift. Set two alarms. One in the first half of the day and the other in the second half. When you hear the alarm, your only job is to drop in and notice what you're feeling and experiencing in that very moment.

Look around.  What are you seeing?
Listen.  What are you hearing?  
Touch.  What are you feeling?  
Get curious. What emotions are present?  
Physically, what does it feel like in your body? 

Just notice.  Simple as that.
