Boredom

When we carve out time to finally sit and practice mindfulness, it's not uncommon to notice different feelings. Sometimes, we might even notice that we're bored. That's okay.  If you notice that you are bored,  you can do one of two things.  You can explore what that boredom feels like or you can simply label the feeling boredom and redirect your attention back to your breath. Instead of becoming discouraged or trying to push the feeling aside, invite yourself to be present to whatever feelings arise and just notice what it's like.
