Just watch

Today, notice when the ego shows up.  Notice when you have a thought around the "I." Maybe you hear, "This isn't what I signed up for," or "I don't deserve this."  Whatever it is, connect with your breath.  Explore the physical sensations in your body.  Try to identify what feelings you are having.  As you breathe, imagine that with each breath you are able to distance yourself from the ego.  With each breath, you are able to see the ego for what it is: separate from your authentic soul self.
