Emotions

Emotions are part of the human experience.  No emotion is good or bad. Today, take the time to notice what happens in your body as an emotion surfaces.  What thoughts accompany the emotion?  Bring your awareness to your breath and imagine yourself as some spirit that has taken residence in your body for a brief moment just to understand emotion.  With this awareness, explore what it is like to be feeling this emotion. No need to judge.  Just get curious about the emotion and what it's like for this particular body.
