Practice

Instead of thinking about the things you need to get done or analyzing the events that happened throughout your day, use this evening as an opportunity to practice mindfulness.  When you get into bed, feel the weight of your head on the pillow. Notice what it feels like to have your back supported. What parts of your body are naturally relaxed.  Where do you feel tightness or tension?  Breathe into each part of your body and with each breath, imagine relaxing a just little bit more.
