Sitting
Carve out fifteen minutes today to sit in a comfortable position. Find the time and give yourself the gift of silence. As you sit, bring your awareness to your breath as you breathe in and breathe out. Our body breathes whether we notice it or not. Today, bring your attention to the breath. Thoughts will arise. When you notice a thought, simply bring your awareness back to your breath. The Insight Timer is a great app that you can use for this purpose. Set the timer for fifteen minutes and you'll be brought back to the room with a gentle bell when you've completed the session.
