Be with the Body
When we experience feelings of overwhelm, we often step out of the present and lose ourselves in our thoughts. If, instead, we bring our attention to our physical body and explore what sensations we are experiencing, we can gently bring ourselves back to the present moment. Once there, we can bring our awareness to our breath and witness the body as it breathes. Breathing in and breathing out. In and out. As it does with or without our attention. Today, if you experience feelings of overwhelm, see if you can be with the body and be with the breath.
