It can be challenging to commit to sitting quietly and focusing on your breath when you know you have so many other things that need to get done. Today, I invite you to start by committing to sit for just one minute. You can set a timer if you'd like.
In that one, single, minute see if you can bring your awareness to your breath. See if you can notice when a thought shows up and gently redirect your attention back to your breath. Sometimes a single minute can turn into a 20 minute sit. Other times, it is helpful to know that you can stop for a single minute at any point throughout your day. Explore what it's like to give yourself that one minute.
