While sitting quietly may seem boring at first, you may find that you start to welcome the experience. Our lives are jam packed with to do's, projects, social interactions, classes, commitments and adventures. To have a place to sit with yourself without doing anything can be a genuine gift. You are allowing yourself to be whatever you are in this very moment. All parts are welcome and all emotions are accepted. Simply be. Be with your body. Be with your breath. Be with whatever arises. Allow thoughts to come and go as you gently bring your awareness back to your breath, back to your body, sitting here in this seat, in this moment.
