Hope

Research has shown that hope plays a huge role in our desire to persist and our overall health.  It can support us in bouncing back and can serve as a protective factor when challenges arise. Hope, however, can also keep us frozen.  It can keep us from moving forward, trapped in the idea that things will get better whether or not we decide to take action.  Today, I invite you to notice when feelings of hope show up for you.  How does this feeling manifest in your body?  In your behavior?  What is it like to experience hope?
